About Us

Vly Brook is founded on the principals of quality, craftsmanship and sustainability. We utilize logs from local foresters, arborist waste, felled trees from our clients’ property or salvaged woods and give them a second life as artisanal lumber products - live-edged slabs, paneling, furniture, shelving, counters, sheds... More than that, we believe in building relationships between local contractors, makers and our neighbors.

If the US milled all the logs that are landfilled, chipped or cut into firewood every year, an additional 3 billion board feet of lumber would be produced annually. Sustainable lumber practices store carbon and reduce both waste and greenhouse gas emissions, and help limit detrimental logging practices that threaten our planet’s forests.
